Terms: Our rate is ordinarily charged at a negotiated, specific contract rate agreeable to all parties in advance of commencement. A commencement deposit of 50% of quote is required up-front, and balance payable upon completion.

The time spent to discuss, plan, stategise, scope/map out and collect the specifications from you the client will become part of the overall quoted cost on acceptance, but should you the client not wish to proceed after the meeting, then only this preliminary engaging fee would fall due at the mutually agreed hourly rate.

We prefer not to quote on a specific job ahead of time before we conference, as this can often lead to inaccurate quoting, we prefer to go over this in detail when and where we conference, either face to face, or online using a zoom type app, where we can gather all the requirements and thereby determine the duration and complexity of the task before quoting. This involved working with over 14000 lines of developed VB.Net Winforms code and call procedures from scratch.Extensive code conversions from the VB6 format to the VB.Net new format and re-developed all the user-forms in .Net (Winforms), tested and compiled in the .Net framework 4.5 (Visual Studio 2019), to completion.

This involved working with over 10 000 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures from scratch across six completed applications I developed in my time here. Working on behalf of Marsh McLennan for Mercer UK to provide for their internal operations, in developing automated software solutions on the fly, as required. Extensive use of Excel and VBA automating many different manual spreadsheet procedures, saving hours of time a day and freeing up valuable staff resources for possible redeployment elsewhere. Some processes complex and others fairlysimple, but all time consuming manual procedures greatly enhanced through intelligent use of automation.

This involved working with over 2100 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures from scratch. Input of end user data for submission of statistical information returns in the department for business, energy, and industrial strategy. Extensive use of text-boxes, combo-boxes for dropdown listings, powered by buttons for submission, scrolling for navigation, and validated data entry for standardization control.

This involved working with over 6200 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures from scratch. Business process automation software app engineering, working together with finance to map out and capture the business requirements in order to enhance and automate all manner of business accounting processes, report generation procedures and reconciliation automation within the finance team.

Data and report processing automation applications, responsible for the development of various software applications for different areas of finance and HR. Nissan Technical Centre Europe

This involved working with over 15000 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, half developed by me from scratch. Contracted by Nissan Europe to reverse engineer and fully automate their Excel VBA specialist parts matrices software application for the car wiring harness department, which was originally developed in Japan in around 2002. Highly complex working, together with a large team of car design engineers, I developed new software apps and tools in Excel VBA, required in this environment and inter-departmentally, for coordinating parts MRP Bill of Materials ordering with main assembly lines for Nissan Europe

Oxford Academic Health Science Network - NHS England

This involved working with over 1500 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. Writing and co-ordination of algorithmic logic to systematically interrogate bulk data sets for this purpose, driven by a central custom end user interface or dashboard. The KPIs generated by this process were to be furnished to a Graphical Representation company as a by-product, who will then display these in a very visually appealing format on a publicly accessible website for statistical purposes

World Vision UK Charity

This involved working with over 10500 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. Development of a software application where all HR backing data is collected and formatted automatically into a central summary report, enabling quick and effective Management Information analysis. Successfully trialled and completed. Automation and streamlining of manual monthly Sage downloads, automating the extraction of KPIs and control totals from these source downloads into a standard log file in a prescribed manner.

This involved working with over 7200 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. An administration application handling all the client/customer interaction and quoting, complex combination of admin and manufacturing specs.

NHS - Clinical Claims Management - Commissioning

This involved working with over 7800 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. A fully automated admin application handling all the interrogation of SUS CDS data (PbR) for the Clinical Claims challenges for over billing, which were then lodged by the commissioning SLA teams against the Hospital provider SLA teams, as rock solid challenges. This app saved NHS Harrow Primary Care Trust over £3 million in that year alone.

Advance Wealth Management

This involved working with around 2000 lines of developed VBA code and algorithms for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. A fully automated admin application handling all the interrogation of a database of on and off shore client investment information, which were then compiled into statement and graphs for each individual client each month on demand, either individually or in one bulk overnight run.

Shell Oil - Borrow/Loan Reconciliation Project

This involved working with over 1000 lines of developed VBA code for Excel and call procedures, from scratch. Was with Shell Oil Company as an analyst developer and succeeded in automating the processes required for this massive fuel inter-oil company reconciliation project, called the Borrow/Loan Reconciliation Project. Where before Shell was making use of a team of auditors from Price Waterhouse Coopers, my automation system replaced their manual processes. This was a great success and resulted in many tens of millions in financial terms being saved/recovered for Shell Oil Company.
